Another wintry day but the sun initially gave us hope. Didn’t last. However I used the early morning sun behind the bushes to create the bokeh that I particularly wanted.
Three good things:
1. This pot plant is anchored on the table and the flowers are artificial so I don’t have to water or worry!
2. John got two tooth extensions put back on, now he doesn't look like a toothless gnome!
3. Crackers, cream cheese and red pepper.
Love the ah this photo is in sort of two layers! They fit so well together & the bokeh of the bushes outside just lifts that picture so much. A real wintry Christmassy photo! John will look very handsome!
@happypat Not handsome, Pat - his beard has got straggly and he won't go to a barber. He looks a bit like 'the old man in a fairy tale' And broken teeth didn't help!
Not a fan of B/W but this most probably works better than in colour great bokeh background and the pot out of the picture creating a 3D-effect . Looks great on black !
Beautiful bokeh, Maggiemae. Silk flowers are the best kind if you want to see their beauty all the time. I love the composition of the shot and your #3 sounds delish
