The Dance of Flowers by maggiemae

The Dance of Flowers

For the challenge that ' @sommerville ' put on - Thursday - long exposure.
This is my first extended exposure photo that had any result! I found it so hard as so much light got in that I had to use the dark hallway to create this photo.
It was 10 secs and during the exposure, I leant in and waggled this flower gently.
I tried waggling myself but this wasn’t successful!

Three good things;
1 .This is a tremendous plant - a Waratah - it starts flowering around September and is still lasting now.
2. I am refusing to feel guilty for not writing in my diary the last few days - actually can’t be bothered remembering!
3. I won $27.50 on a lotto ticket that cost me $12.00!
that's a pretty cool outcome maggie - very artistic

@happypat I'd never got anywhere with long exposure, Pat so I had to try....it involved a lot of getting down on the floor and up again!

Well done! Or should I say well-waggled? I am behind on the one week challenge. I think I probably shouldn't have started it with the holiday this week. Ahhhh- but the challenge! So, now you have given me another idea to play with when and if I ever get caught up with it! Great shot!

you make me laugh with your description of the shoot. Impressive dance occurred as a result of your waggling. I had similar problems in getting away from the light to allow a long exposure.
