Single Malt by maggiemae

Single Malt

We had an assignation with a Whisky Company based in our home town of Oamaru. They are selling casks of their great Single Malts and we have a half share of one so we meet in this old building to celebrate the filling of this cask. But in addition they have brought out a special whisky to sell as the “Spirit of Munro’
Three good things;
1. Having put up with severe aches in the left side of my mouth for some days, I finally got an appointment with the dentist.. I’m not sure if I agree with her evaluation but we will see. In the meantime - anti biotics and pain killers.
2. The whisky tasting didn’t help the jaw but it was a great experience.
3. Home again and we have had some welcome rain!
How exciting to have a connection to this whisky in your home town. Cheers. Enjoy.

Well you must be a very proud pair! Fancy having a whisky with your own name on it! Do t drink it all at once! You could roll a bit of neat whisky round your sore mouth, hit that bad tooth & knock it out!

@maggiemae There is always light at the end of the tunnel. Nothing lasts forever. What gets me through each day as well.

Now that whisky is very special. Love that label. Oh I do hope your tooth is healing and your jaw pain is subsiding.. Antibiotics then tooth removal maybe?
December 19th, 2017
@kiwinanna Thank you for your thoughts, Liana - as I have been taking fosomax for osteoporosis for a number of years there is a side effect of tooth fragility and the fact that the gum may not heal after tooth removal! It is frightening and makes me reluctant to choose that option. The antibiotics seem to be doing the trick!
