Brmm..brmm.

One never knows what is going to happen one day or the next…
We were on a data hunt again - going to preselected spots and accumulating data for our phones. On our way to these places, I spotted an old tractor not going anywhere fast with some young enthusiasts.
There good things;
1. Better to remember these good things on the day. One day later and you have lost the plot!
2. Pulled out some wicked climbing plants - now known as banned… one is called “Old Man’s Beard”, another new to us is the Honeysuckle which we have here and has gone haywire!
3. Talked to some tourists in the cafe - keen to talk about our Oamaru town.

ps.. have to fix the time on my camera - its lost the plot!
They look like they are having fun! I'm sure they are having a splendid adventure

Old Man's beard is a shocker ... and Japanese Honeysuckle can be very invasive... did you see on tv last night they were doing trials on introducing a butterfly to get rid of the honeysuckle ... lets hope that does not cause another problem... These kids look like they are having fun ... I presume it was not going...

@julzmaioro Thats where I found out about the honeysuckle, Julia! I shall pull it out by the roots! The flower itself is not that scented either!

@maggiemae It's the yellow one that is the problem I have the pink one and it is lovely and quite controlable..

Well honeysuckle over here is very popular, have never heard of the Japanese sort though buy ours is a lovely sweet smelling desirable climber. Too right about good things....I think of one but by the end of the day I can't think of one! Lovely tractor image & cute driver! Fave,

@happypat We seem to graduate towards noxious weeds, Pat. In our last property we had a passionfruit one that was really deadly! Strangled trees but the fruit was nice!

@bruni No this bull dozer is not going anywhere, Bruni!

Always so nice to see children actually playing outside, instead of sitting inside playing video games.
