Leaving Raglan behind after a futile attempt to try and find the fish and chip shop at the end of the little pier that Pat ( @happypat ) told us about, we headed south. Through narrow gorges, beside green hills, through a tunnel into the seascape north of New Plymouth.
Three Good Things:
1. Power and a good internet connection here!
2. We front on to the beach where the waves thunder in - they thundered all night, actually!
3. Remembering to put my shoulders back and head up more often.
@onewing I couldn't get down to the beach easily, Babs - there had been some storm damage and the trail was closed. However we enjoyed seeing all the walkers who managed to get down!
@maggiemae Sorry, I missed this one. It should work well as a B&W - really push the Clarity up, shadows down and whites up, blacks down a bit...play with those sliders. Personally I like a slight "harsher" look to my B&W's...but I reckon this one would work so well as a mono
Oh dear, I should have given better directions maggie, never mind another time maybe! Loving this picture but will go over to the black & white & compare but I'm always a colour oerson. #3GT is always on my list but forget!
@maggiemae It's a lovely place to visit without the fish & Chips maggie. A beautiful view if the bay & two lovely shops plus the fish shop also sold different fish to buy such as smoked salmon, crabs etc! Another time!
I liked this a lot when I saw it pop up yesterday but was too tired to do any more commenting. Now that I have seen your black and white version, I prefer that, but this is excellent too.
