Lunch

A pleasant lunch at one of the old pubs in Oamaru called "Fat Sally's. She is a real person and rather plump.
Three Good Things;
1. Joy found good meal with her diet regimes being taken care of.
2. Not being in a hurry.
3. No rain for a week or two so had to water some new plants. The hose reached over there!

I'm following your journey with the 'good things' closely since I am now doing similar (although not on here). Except my challenge to myself is to find three 'joyous moments'. In any case, so pleased that you could accommodate the diet - not always easy I know.

I've eaten in Fat Sally's when we stayed with you! A very good meal it was too! I recognise the name & the inside! Glad your meals are working out well, you will be living time with your daughter, does she live in NZ?

Oamaru has a number of excellent restaurants. Also clothes shops too I have found after trailing after Joy.

Most restaurants now have healthy items, they have to with everyone being so careful with their meals. I know you are enjoying your daughter’s visit!

What a great name for a pub and restaurant. Glad to hear that Fat Sally is a real person, you wouldn't want to meet a thin chef would you. It would make you wonder what was wrong with their food
