Bee Nice

I was about to sit down and realised there was a little bumble bee already sitting there.
John has always said he handled bees often and was never stung. He let Master BB lazily walk on to his fingers and then took him out to one of our roses where he recovered his energy and got working! …The Bee, that is!

Three good things:
1. Caught the army of aphids assembling on some innocent roses. With my little gun, I blasted them - pow pow!
2. Smoked salmon on special.
3. Got my new drivers licence in the mail. A new photo looks more like me than I did so many years ago- blond, cross-eyed and belligerent!

Good close up - I think they only ever sting if they're threatened because once they sting they die.

Bees don't usually sting unless they feel threatened so this one obviously feels quite safe.

I’ve always heard you can handle bees, I never had the courage. Drivers license photos are usually quite awful.

@ludwigsdiana I have heard and read that the finger exercise can work too but when you find there are more in other roses, its spraying that has to be done!
