A time to wish all my dear 365 friends a happy New Year. This flower is not the NZ pohutukawa which is an icon of the NZ summer but for the life of me, I cannot remember its name! Its out by the fence in our garden.
Three good things:
1. Getting the book, The Moon Sister from the library. I had put in a request some months ago.
2. Great meals for the last day in the year!
3. Watching TV most of the day punctuated by wild exercise!
Lesley just told me it’s a Callistemon maggie....looks like a bottle brush, will look nice on your fence! Happy new year to you & John....May it be healthy & happy!
@happypat Yes, that's what I thought it was - bottle brush, thanks Lesley! Callistemon is a fancy name and I have difficulty with my lips on saying that! A very happy New Year to you and Harry too!
Yes...the bottle brush which we had to remove from our first home because the bee’s loved it so much! I am allergic! Happy New Years to you and your, Maggiemae! ❤️
I was thinking bottle brush too but whatever it is the picture of it is gorgeous and makes a wonderufl card for you! God bless and keep you safe and healthy this year. Take it easy on that wild exercise too!
