Not far to the next camping spot - a small village domain. About 1 hour driving in the van. The Domain is surrounded by tall trees which with the forecasted gale force winds, roared over this small domain! This shot was taken out of our window when the low sun lit up the landscape!
Three Good things:
1. The best sausages and mash I have ever tasted in the small historic pub here!
2. This seems to be the right time to travel - school starts on Monday.
3. I didn’t bring my crochet…. haven’t even started one! Books are better!
@maggiemae Fires in the worst drought-affected farming areas won't do much damage, nothing to burn. I was living on a farm during several droughts, and one of the few good things was knowing that we wouldn't have an grass fires from lightening strikes. No grass + no grass fires.
