The Motorbike events are all done and dusted. John decided on the Family Trophy to go to a rider who struggled but kept going. It proved a popular choice.
Three Good Things:
1. We shifted out of the hotel back into our motorhome dragging bags and clothes through lifts and garages. A relief to get it all finished.
2. I got my stitches out - slightly painful but now have another big white plaster on my neck. Fortunately my hair hides it.
3. Ended up at a fabulous little tavern called Millers Flat. This is just one end of it which I thought artistic and I love those old horse paintings
I love the painting and those beautiful gladiolus. There’s nothing like getting the car reloaded at the end of a hotel stay. It always seems that I take more back to the car than I took in to start with. I’m not sure I could sleep with big trucks whizzing by.
I like John's decision on the award. The winner must have been very appreciative. Congrats on getting through the rally and thanks for the photos. Almost like being there!
