We put out a mousetrap by the couch where Mrs Mouse had disappeared.
“Baby mice are also called pups a female mouse is doe. ... Buck refers to a male mouse, and baby mouse is called pinky or kitten”
In the morning I crept in and there she was caught but not deceased. However that was handled by my man (why are men so good at deceasing things?)
She was quite fat and we think that she got into John’s bedside drawer as there were holes in his singlet! It must have given her indigestion as she then got into his indigestion tablets!
Three good things:
1. A bit of gardening but it didn’t affect my fingernails.
2. Plenty of potatoes from the garden along with mint which has grown so well.
3. Poached eggs on toast with a touch of parsley.
Cute picture and loved the mouse episodes even if a sad end. We used to have them visit but since we put a large plastic box in a corner cupboard and almost everything in plastic boxes they seem to have found other houses to visit!!!
Love the image - fav fav fav !! But a mouse in the house is not so good ! reminds me of the old song Windmills of old Amsterdam--Ronnie Hilton -- I saw a mouse , where , There on the stairs …….. etc,etc
It is sad that the mouse is now deceased, but you can't have them indoors. Unfortunately, they aren't house trained and do a lot of damage. At least it didn't have indigestion when it went.
