A long line of bales stretch across the field in front of where we are parked. Had to climb over the fence which was successful and I didn't fall into the field!
Friendly folk in this country Domain - a lot of motorhomes and a few small vans who have foreign inhabants.
Three Good Things:
1. A nearby hamlet is well known for making delicious pies so we bought two, a steak and onion and a mince cheese.
2. Lunch in a cemetery. In the middle of a mountain valley on a rise, these old gravestones tell stories. Most of them in the 1800's.
3. John could watch the rugby on our wee TV and I could too - if I wanted to!
We are feeding our silage bales out already .. very dry here .. great shot of this long sausage of silage.. I saw last night on tv news that there is snow on the mountains down there ... hope you got your woolly hat ..
I love seeing those long lines of wrapped bales, good on ya for climbing the fence to get this shot. Your TGT, the first two sound great, pass on the rugby, all AFL down here.
They are Jewel big bales maggie! I have seen various colours before. Ours are mostly black but some green, some white & occasionally pink but these shiny ones are lovely! Good job that fence wasn’t tight or electric!
@happypat@grammyn I have been trying to post more photos online now we are at another campsite where there is Wifi. Very slow. Absolutely no cellphone coverage anywhere.
