This is of my SIL aged 92 and taken by a professional photographer who's prices were outrageous I felt. I watched her pose Margaret P (SIL) and in this one she put a frame at the back of the seat and pegged a black blanket there. I took a photo of this one and just highlighted the face a bit more.
I asked for a B&W one for our own record.
Three good things:
1. Home again after a month's real holiday!
2. I paid $40 for just a postcard size, no framing and then $10 extra for postage. Now I know not to go back to her again.
3. Cooler nights.
@grammyn The reason why I didn't do it was because if it was me, she might have not posed so well and also objected to her hairstyle ( which really wasn't very good and I could have done better)
I think nex5 time she should have just asked you & saved her money! What a game girl having her photo taken at 92.....still thinking of posterity & her place in future years. Your SIL looks nowhere near that age, an elegant lady with pride in her appearance!

While this is a very nice portrait, it does seem to come on the pricey side. To charge you $40 for a post card size print when you've paid for a package is in my opinion poor customer service. She should have given you that for free as a way of saying thanks for your support. You sil looks wonderful for her age- I hope I look that good when I grow up!
