This wild place is in the mountains but only 1and1/2 hrs from home. There are no shops, no cell coverage, no fuel stations. There is wifi but only in one part of the hotel. However we were in holiday mood and didn't mind anything! The original part of the hotel opened in the 1860's.

That looks like an interesting place. Where abouts is it? We are thinking of coming down again during the year and it looks like a great place to stay.
@delwynforsythe it is a lovely place - Dansey’s Pass Hotel. @julzmaioro and I and our husbands stayed here - great food and atmosphere but not cheap!
Love this place.. @delwynforsythe really worth while staying here just skimp on another night accomodation .. The drive through Dansey pass is very worth while.. Great photo Maggie ..
