Blue Sky above mountain tops

Not long before it changed into clouds and heavy drizzle but not cold. The forecast is not good - a weather bomb - but not till Sun/Mon/Tues. We have time to hunker down.
Thankful for: Silence, friendship without demands, time to read while absorbing the mountainous territory outside the window!
Gorgeous colours

An amazing mountain but I can’t look at it without thinking if that couple from England on a sight seeing flight that crashed & their bodies never recovered. It happened just before Harry & I visited a few year ago.

@grammyn Weatherwatch says the low could reach criteria to be classed as a "weather bomb", which it says is when air pressure falls more than 24hPa in 24 hours.

@maggiemae It hung over me every time I looked at it....the kids had come to see where the accident had happened. A beautiful place, I will enjoy it better when I see it next time! It would have been the same time we stayed with you because Will & Alex took us to the base. A few years ago now.
