Sometimes...

you go out to get a photo and sometimes,... it comes to you! A pigeon sitting on our roof. We don't see many pigeons at all. But our previous next door neighbour was harbouring birds that her father had. He passed away and I suppose she had to keep them fed so brought them to her place. She has sold the property and moved including all the birds. I just wonder where one bird has escaped and come back to view the property from our roof!
Now John tells me that all her birds were white doves. So that's that!

@maggiemae Both. I like old sloping roofs, they have always been an interesting subject for photos. And pigeons have always been an important addition to these roofs.
