I fear there is a bit of overtuliperese here but this is the very first of the new tulips. The last tulips I posted were here when we bought the property I do have the names but they really don't mean anything more that the actual picture! The red slashes on the petals are rather unusual. Probably not to Bep, @gijsje though living in the capital of tulips, the Netherlands!

@grammyn It surely is a double tulip - something I've not seen before! They are so good at creating new types! They, being them what fiddle with genes!
