Sun on the leaves

Late sun lit up the new rose growths and behind there were white daffodils still managing to survive after wild winds. I tried to use the same f stop... 2.8 but now see it doesn't obey! This one was f5! However it does do the effect that I want.

Thankful for:
We had a surprise delivery - a whole heat pump hot water system! Our present one had failed for about 6 years and we had asked for new parts.
