At the top of this high bush, these roses are in full thingy - what's it called! I'm in a situation where I forget words but apparently that's normal at our age.
Thankful for:
Being able to stay in our home when the omicron variant Covid arrives in Chch only 3 hours away!
The flowers are amazing in full bloom and your photo of them is spectacularly composed. Not to worry about not remembering the word it happens to all of us!
I hope it does not become an issue for you but I hear it is a milder case of the flu than the other variants.
You have the Omicron already…I’m amazed it got to you so soon. It’s rife here but fingers crossed it doesn’t seem to be as severe as the original although there is doom & gloom from all the scientists! Lots of people cancelling meals & theatre tickets…working from home, it’s going to absolutely kill some businesses. We have to live with it until it burns itself out is my feeling.
Beautiful roses!
Ha ha it is a bugger getting older isn't it, I am forgetful too.
Hope you stay safe from Omicron. We have cases here too thanks to a chap from Sydney who brought it to Newcastle and now down here in the bay. On doing the QR code (quick response code) in three shops in our shopping centre last Monday it said I was exposed to a Covid positive case in three shops and had to be tested. I am still waiting for the results so will isolate until I get a negative result.
@maggiemae The good news was the QR code but the bad news is that as from Wednesday as restrictions eased further our NSW premier has ceased QR coding and wearing masks in public too, what a drongo. I can't help feeling it is all going to end in tears as cases soar again in New South Wales
wow! that omicron crap really works its way fast. we are having more restrictions again here; cases jumped from 2 thousand on thursday to 3 thousand plus on friday. i'm enjoying being home most of the time i could get used to just working from home. take care you guys.
ooops! the flowers are very pretty with those lively colours. the term 'thingy' or 'thingie' is a proper term for a multitude of things. i am right there with you on this forgetting thing.
@maggiemae - funny that. but ever since this work from home started, i've been vacuuming every week, and mopping every day. it's hard to be boss, assistant and maintenance person all in one!
