The mighty Waitaki River

I started out this day trying to upload a movie - as usual it didn't work even after lots of investigation and google. This is the bridge between Canterbury and Otago and the rail bridge is across there. It used to be a road/rail bridge a while ago, then they built this new one.

I recognise this bridge I’m sure, our grandson worked on a farm near here for a year & he joined the volunteer fire brigade in a place called Glenevy. The river is mighty there & we went to the mouth as it goes into the sea.
