I found out how to use the Raw function on this camera and took 4 photos. Then changed it back and post edit was the same. This one is jpg and actually a bit clearer than taken in "raw'
Thankful for:
Got packed with a lot of thought. There will be a few evening restaurant dinners with family - skirts or trousers?
A lovely shot of your beautiful home and garden. I never understood the difference between the two until I tried it. I had some very poor shots with difficult light and shadow issues. The jpeg I had to delete, but I managed to save the raw one which turned out pretty well. Since that time, I only shoot in raw, which obviously needs editing afterwards.
Sounds as if you are in for a wonderful week! I always wear trousers in winter as I don't have any skirts ;-)
@ludwigsdiana Thanks for your info re raw, Diana! I generally wear trousers nowadays - after all when you are sitting at a table you don't see what's underneath!
Raw allows you more detail for which you can do excellent edits. My bridge camera only does jpeg. I am missing my raw and want to take my other camera out more. I think RAW is only good if you are going to edit.
I was always told RAW is best by Jack. That’s when I could do such fancy things such as proper editing…those were the days with my big camera! I mostly wear trousers but funnily enough wear more dresses in winter as I like opaque tights & my Doc Martins. I have four dresses but loads of trousers!! I’m away this weekend so must go up the loft & get my case out!
Your lovely house is looking good….such a lovey three nights we spent with you & John.

I say definitely wear the trousers. You might as well be comfortable.
