Moon for 2023 by maggiemae

Moon for 2023

Full moon is not till 7th Jan and this was really just a white shadow in the late evening blue sky! Sunset, 9.28pm so another hour till it was somewhat dark. Pleased at what I could catch - with the help of a tripod.
Thankful for:
A sunny day but lots of wind - tidying up the front porch with a broom, the wind just blew the leaves back again... but... we won!
Lovely capture!

Your New Zealand moon is better than our California moon. I never see that much detail.

@joysfocus Maybe too much fog over in your area, Joy?

@maggiemae Well it is winter in our area so lots of clouds and rain. We have had some fog and I expect more for a couple of months.

@joysfocus I expect you are hunkered down with all that cold weather and not sweating it out on a bike like me!
