The Fire station

In a lot of towns in NZ the classic buildings have lasted. This is the Fire Station and it really is a classic. When we drove past this station and were stopped at lights, I noticed the images on the central portal - St George - or the Dragon. I can't find much more information.
Thankful for;
Picked up hubby from the hospital - it all sounds rather hectic and unorganised but that seems to be normal now. We will cope
