Delicious

This was at a small cafe that is doing well. This is an example - their own recipe for a mince and cheese pie. It looks a bit burnt on the top but that just means they have made it. Not one delivered at 5am from some bakery miles away.

@ludwigsdiana In actual fact, it didn't taste burnt - the cheese ( think it would be mozzarella) was right underneath the top pastry!

The burn on the top of this one means it has a delightfully crunchy texture.

That pie looks absolutely delicious. You photoed it well which is quite hard to make food look appetising apparently. We don’t have this combination if filling here in the UK, well I’ve be ever come across it but I know you have all sorts of pies. I like flaky pastry well done!
