the story was displayed on the wall behind where I sat with a glass of wine. It was a celebration of a new location for the NZ Whisky Collection in Oamaru. One of the really old buildings with a huge stud. They had good live music, cocktails and wonderful nibbles. We were chosen to cut the ribbon! (one of the recent whiskies had John's father Burt featured and crafted)
