A sample of the fresh fish that was caught in the Lion's Fishing Contest in Moeraki on such a lovely sunny day. We were given about 15 kg and since have been eating fish every meal except breakfast! The rest will have to be frozen but it's never as nice as when fresh! Tomatoes out of our glass house (preen preen!)
Yum! Great you can enjoy the result of all that effort. Hey, aren't your tomatoes doing well too? I was in New Zealand in 1992 and seem to remember visiting the Moeraki Boulders. Same place?
@lornareid Ther is nowhere else in the world as the Moeraki Boulders! I have to go down ther - about 20 mins- and take a photo at high tide at sunrise! Mmmm!
Loving the colour of that crispy thin batter and the texture of that mouth watering fish. MMMMM sprinkle a little pepper and salt on the tomato and I'll be there. We haven't seen too many big beef tomatoes like that this year in the city.
