Excuse me..

But it's only May! Winter is ahead of us and you are away ahead of Spring - at least September! This is a blossom flower just popped out on a big tree in our garden!
So pretty. How fun to have something so beautiful just POP OUT!!! Enjoy its beauty.

Nice capture. I like it against the dark background. It really pops.

Wow! It's beautiful, Maggiemae! I love those pinks - early or not! FAV!!! May I pin it, please?

Beautiful, but I'm a little confused! I guess because we are almost done with Spring and into Summer...don't wanna think about winter right now!

@vskolnik I'm on the other side of the world! Its you that is upside down, not us!

@deburahiru Thank you Deb, in real life it is pretty small, so it takes the camera's eye to see thus!

This is lovely Maggiemae. As you can probably tell from a lot of my photo's, I'm quite partial to lots of colour with dark backgrounds. This one is great. I've got a couple of things flowering now that shouldn't be either. Crazy!

@tonygig I agree, @tonygig - you only see things from a distance without a camera!

It is beautiful Maggie, delicate and fragile - funny how the unopened buds have more colour than the petals? What is with the lime green worm? I can't explain all this weird stuff so just enjoy its uniqueness.
posted May 28th, 2012
@doblaine I saw this "worm" too afterwards and took a second look! It is so tiny but I don't know what it is - will see what develops

Fantastic shot Maggiemae. Stands out from the dark background.

@doblaine looked at this the next day and the buds had burst! This gren worm thing is the stigma! It was like it was poking it's tongue out!
