These are some of the beautifully kept classic cars here at this night festival! Some were modified - like put together with odd bits like one with a 1939 Mercury Grill and nothing like a Mercury in the body! All gleaming and well displayed! Such talent!
An ama\ing collection of cars, obviously much loved. I have also owned sveral cars that I loved but my practical talent only went as far as changing a wiper blade ... and I only got that right occasionally!
Fantastic shot. My hubby would love to see those cars (and so would I). I can't imagine 30 years from now the cars that are being built being displayed like this--these cars are just so cool looking, the ones today, BLAH!!!
I know some men here who would have loved to have been there !! We always like the beach hop at Whangamata where they have the old cars driving along !
@yonnie It's not only men who like these cars - I go into raptures when I see one! John wouldn't leave the fireside to see these but he knows exactly what they are!
The cars today all look alike. The old cars have such character and distinct design differences. To bad they were all gas guzzlers. Still great to see them so well cared for.
