I know you are there!

This cormorant sitting on a rock at the side of Lake Whakatipu at Queenstown was trying to see any fish around! I took this with a zoom and no tripod which would have made the bird a bit clearer. He did keep moving around!

This is very long catch ....hence bird is smaller....but the position of the bird is soooooooo nice......you should be happy!!!!!!!!!

That is a hard long shot to make but I like the way it turned out with a slight blur all around, there are some who post process to make it look like this. Nice Job Maggiemae!

I was a long way up on the lake path here and there was a bit of foliage I had to peer through so hence the out of focus! @summitnsmile

Great capture. Once in a while, cormorants linger at the lakes in Columbia but soon move on to more exciting locations. I love watching them dive and resurface.
