This is where it crosses a main road and continues on the other side! The total trail is 150km and travels through wonderful territory like this. There are tunnels and viaducts, bridges and long straights!
Now that looks like a wonderful place to bike. (It's been quite awhile since I've been on a bike, but if I had scenery like this, I might want to get on one) Fabulous shot, maggiemae.
A beautiful glimpse of what must be amazing country down in the southern part of the South Island. These bike trails must be a great way to really see the country.

I think I need to bring my bike!!!!! Would love the open space of this ride & those stunning mountains are awe inspiring ( as long as not too many hills!)
