Mr Man was invited for high tea at the Manor House where he had previously met the owner. Yolanda combed her wild locks –(hairdressers work annihilated) and polished her vocabulary. She liked to be called M’amselle at these type of functions and put a vague French accent on! “Pardon, Monsieur,” she would say, Je t’adore le Jardin . S'il vous plaît je peux aller jouer dehors?”(please may I go outside to play) She didn’t want the Monsieur to get very keen to go and play too so she had to be very prudent!
However, all was well and it was Mr Man, our Nuts’n’Bolts man who took her for a ride in Le Jardin on his velo!
For past adventures of Mr Man, tag Nuts'n'Bolts
Somehow I missed this one -- love the commentary and the view of the manor house. Yolanda is up to her usual antics. But what can you expect from a girl with long purple hair?
