My other solstice photo is of the same ridge of hill across from our home. The sun was low and at 8.30pm, only 1 hour from sunset. The sky was dramatic after a heavy rain front had gone northwards.
A very unusual shot but works so well maggiemae...that little touch of red with that dramatic blue sky is superb...you could enter this in the fence theme!
@happypat hi Pat! This is not a fence - it is power lines! I was amazed they came out so clearly! You can also see just the tip of the observatory there which is not normally picked out!
