NZ Beach

This is Orewa beach just north of Auckland City and one of the holiday destinations. Condominiums and apartments going up everywhere are turning it into an Australian scene.

Lovely shot, Maggiemae. I like that you can see the sand while the tide is out. The seagulls seem to enjoy it. It's sad to see housing going up everywhere. The country isn't the country anymore. It's becoming too urban.

Amazing the way that sliver of sea seems to make the beach appear on two levels...a trick of the eye perhaps but very effective!
Lovely beach & you have so many of them so plenty to enjoy. I don't think NZ will be like Blackpool!!
