A little church in Lake Tekapo in NZ stands on a promontory overlooking the Lake. It was built in 1935 and is popular for weddings as well as services. The temperature was cold - 4 deg so we didn't hang about!
I have been in this church Maggiemae...it was so beautiful there & that lake so turquoise blue. One of our nicest memories of NZ. We hired a car & drove to Geraldine where we stayed the night & then drove to Fairley & on through Mackenzie Country to Lake Tekapo. Lovely to see it again & a very unusual edit. Cold !
I've also been here, isn't it also known as the church of the good shepherd? My pictures are very different with the incredible blue of the lake behind. This photo has an ethereal feel to it, nice.
I like the feel and look of this picture, very inviting place and seems a great place to explore.
