that waited for days to get the noise taken out of the photo! Tried this and that - finally having been told of Photomatix, I downloaded a trial and found there was a noise removal button! I'm pleased with this - not as good focus as if I had a good lens but the ISO was so up on this shot, the grainy look was inevitable.. Its a NZ silvereye or ring eye or wax eye as they are called.
A beautiful capture! Fabulous bokeh too! Well done for getting rid of the noise. I didn't realise you could do that in photomatix. I edit in Lightroom and there,are sliders to reduce noise which are brilliant.
@rustymonkey I'm sure your photo would be much better, Karen - I had my camera on 'sport' because they jump around but that setting shot the ISO up and hence the poor photo.
I always love the little circle of white round the eye....so striking to look at & makes the eye really stand out. Your little bird is dressed all in velvet...just like a king in purple robes! I edit in LR & that does have a noise button...very useful I must say.
