We have no mobile coverage and I was trying to encourage John to think - without mobiles, without internet. just scenic wonder - high cliffs, thundering surf just meters away from our caravan! Pancake Rocks is a major drawcard here and I got some good photos along with Asians all taking selfies!
Three Good Things
1. Lunch was a wonderful old Goldfield historic area called Berlins. So many guys around with great beards and i did ask him if he would mind if I took his photo! ( he did keep looking at me again and again) ps…John told the owner that I had my photos published all round the world…… now thats actually true!
2. Crikey - so many photographic opportunities - (Pancake Rocks here) plus western sun on the rolling surf!
3. Fried the rice we fried yesterday for tea and had left over.
@kali66 Oh, we will be coming through there tomorrow to Greymouth. John has a guy he wants to meet at Tarrytown then we have to be in Greymouth to pick up a courier parcel that hopefully has been delivered. Will see if we can connect. No phone service where we are.
@kali66 Thank you Kali for your welcoming comment! I'll have to say it may be difficult - no phone service and the internet becomes almost unusable in a couple of hours in spite of us having paid for a whole day's use. Just might not have the time available to stop at Rapahoe! - Sorry!
