Eeek! by maggiemae

Eeek!

Got a photo of John's flu injection! The needle was so thin, you could hardly feel it.

This is for @grammyn -Katy who wanted to see it!
WOW! how awesome. Good on you for getting such a great shot with perfect timing!

He is a brave boy. Did they give him a lollipop? I got a fun size milky way bar when I had my flu and B12 jabs last week.

@onewing Oh dear- we never got anything! I should have brought a couple of chocolates and given them to us and the nurses!

I don't watch needles being inserted. My daughter, however, took a similar photo to this -- She was getting a blood test and got a photo of the process. Not me!

Hey, I do this four to six times a day - no big deal. ;-) Big difference, though. I do subcutaneous, flu shots are intramuscular. A little more painful! Worth it though!
April 19th, 2017
@stray_shooter Oh goodness - you must be so adapted to this sort of procedure. Sounds serious!
April 19th, 2017
@maggiemae Just your everyday diabetic. Not a problem, and the needles are really very tiny, so there's almost no sensation.....until they get a little old and dull, that is.
April 19th, 2017
@stray_shooter um..... the needles or the person, Ron?
April 19th, 2017
Ouch!!
April 19th, 2017
Oh.. that reminds me - time to get the jab. Cleverly timed shot.
April 19th, 2017
@maggiemae I'm the patient who looks at the ceiling when the needle comes out of the package, I never look, just keep telling myself the shot is going to make me better. Lol.
April 19th, 2017
Ouch. Well shot though!
April 19th, 2017
Great timing...The needle is barely visible :).
April 19th, 2017
Oh my Maggie, you are a one! The needle is very thin but still going into John's arm!
April 19th, 2017
Eeek (faints!)
April 19th, 2017
No, I just CANNOT look!
April 19th, 2017
@happypat the needle has just come out of John's arm, Pat! You can see that little triangle of skin!
April 19th, 2017
Great SHOT!! - from one who gives shots!
April 19th, 2017
