Uplifting faces

I do like the shots where dark is the background - it really pays to look at TT!

I manipulated my settings to get this on our outside lawn lying down flat on the slightly damp grass!
So lovely Maggiemae you are better than I a big fav

@Dawn The settings on my camera don't give much help to ... me or perhaps you. But I was working on the aperture to get this dark look. Still don't know what I did!

@dide I really notice that they take a lot of trouble NOT to look over the fence or the hedge!

Not a surprise that this one went all the way to the PP! It’s a fabulous low POV and a beautiful composition. Sometimes getting a wet belly is worth it! FAV

This is the beauty of doing a manual shot. I too love that dark background, it gives such a wonderful effect with these lovely flowers! Hope you got up ok! My iPhone does nothing like this if course, I am just a diary photographer these days!

@happypat I'm getting better at getting up from the ground now - all those exercises I have to do every day help!

@grammyn Thanks for your fav, Katy! The dew on the grass just made me mildly damp!

I like this shot. Have given up on TT!!

@golftragic Marnie - don't try to emulate or copy TT - they are just so good! Look at what gives you pleasure in the photo and stow it away for when you think you could use those settings on your own terms!
