I'm trying to emulate an edit of our great photographers, @fbailey. Her photo was on TT and she encouraged me to try this edit.
This is during the BMC (Burt Munro Challenge) held every year in February, Invercargill. On Oreti Beach, this biker had just overturned his bike and was sad to see his race had finished.
It was taken in Feb this year but I wanted to put this in as a motion blur.
Just a thought but if you like trying something new, why not join Get Pushed? I joined originally because I was running out of ideas for subjects so this way I was given a weekly challenge which meant I only had to find subjects for 5/6 days each week. I also learned so very much. I've rejoined it for the very same reason. It makes me think about what I need to try and produce rather than just snapping away blindly. You should give it a go!
