Wild Winds by mamabec

Wild Winds

...and it isn't over yet. South of us the headwinds were at 112 mph; north of us they were clocked at 109 mph ... so I'd say we had some gusts close to 100 mph. I wish I could have gotten some ocean shots - but only left the house to go into work for my computer and for a few supplies at the grocery store. I had to turn around and take three different routes to get where I was going because of downed trees like this one. Only lost power once for about 90 minutes ... so far. Glad to be safe.
Wow!

Oh my! where do you live??

Wow, that is brutal. I hope the beautiful forests you have there don't suffer too much. Winds that strong are so damaging.

That was some storm to hit the Northwest . . including all of the snow in Seattle and Tacoma. Wonderful catch of this, Becky. You're one of us (crazy) 365ers who doesn't leave home without her camera. Yay!

Nice catch! Yes, warm and dry and I just got Internet and power...for how long, who knows?

I'm so glad you are safe. I can't imagine winds that speed. When is it supposed to be over. We are still wrapped up on snow.
