Almost Home by mamabec

Almost Home

Sometimes this seven-hour drive between our home and our kids/granddaughters seems longer than others. Once we hit Portland we are another three hours from home. Thankfully, my man did all the driving this time and I got to play on my iPad using the Hotspot on his iPhone. ... Back to Oregon and back to work.
Cool capture

Ok, how do I get a hot spot on my iPhone? You are a computer genius. Like the way you composed this

Excellent composture on this shot, love the reflection of the building and the color. Okay, how do you get hot spots from his iphone?

Thank you - it's really hard to get "freeway" shots of Portland. It's a beautiful city, especially at night because the Williamette River runs between the freeway and the city. Most of the freeway has chainlink fence between the drivers and the beauty so the opportunities for a shot are few.

Okay ... the HOTSPOT thing. My husband is paying ATT the extra $20 per month on his iPhone to have the ability to basically turn his iPhone into a wireless router. On his phone in the settings he turns on the Hotspot and WiFi and the phone allows us to use the cell service wherever we are and converts it to a WiFi connection like you home wireless router. Then on my iPad I search for WiFi locations and it picks up my husband's iPhone as an available WiFi connection. I enter the password to access it and whalaaa ... I'm connected to the Internet. He also has the 5GB data plan so I was able to play for H O U R S!
