The Iris-J is a tugboat that was in operation from 1942 to 1975. It's one of those relics of the past that can transport your mind back to a time - and I don't get to say this very often - before my birth!
How wonderful. I love old tugboats. This is a beauty at the marina that I drive by every day. I took of pics of it this past fall. I should go check on it this coming weekend and get some more pics.
