Lately, because of all the storms (lots of rain and high winds) the beaches have been littered with an enormous amount of trees and logs. It amazes me how whole trees with root-ball in tact make it down the river, out to the ocean and then get brought back in with the tide and dumped on the beaches.

Very funny! Not possible because there are not rocks for me to climb on to get stuck during a sneaker wave... the Jetty is pretty high if I do go on those rocks, however.
There IS something special about living less than two miles from the ocean... the air does smell pretty good!

I should get another full shot of the beach ... behind me in this shot the beach is just FULL of washed up trees.
