I took our dog Lucy to the South Jetty Beach today. The air was clean and crisp ... overcast but quite the hike up over the hill from the parking area to the actual beach. The ocean provides this opportunity to refocus and refresh.

You crack me up ... are you sitting there waiting for the next new post? I know you are in the land of sunshine ... maybe you are just feeling sorry for those of us who are not getting enough sunshine.
This looks like you had the whole beach to your self only the wind, ocean, and Lucy for company great scenery. was the weather as wild as it looks? Makes you feel good on days like that.
@jgpittenger Thanks Jane - it was quite a hike. @meisen325 I must agree that it is beautiful and my dog was so happy to be out there. @bkbinthecity Thanks so much for your comment. @hobgoblinwychwo it was very overcast and a bit cool. What I love is the ocean being so loud that it drowns out all other sounds except for the occasional bird... And I got a workout climbing the large dune I was standing on to get this shot.
