This was the most precious moment. My granddaughter had been on a tour of the fire department the week prior and loved it - so, when she saw this EMT-Fireman she bolted out of her sitting position on the curb, ran and jumped into his arms. He was taken by surprise and she was in awe. Her look says, "Look, it's MY Fireman!"
My name is Adam Lamb - the firefighter in the photo...as you can imagine ~ that was one of the most "real" moments I've had in a great while. Its one of the moments that will be etched in my mind - genuine and pure...the photo you missed was of my teary eyes. If your in the area with Sophie...the tour is on me. Thanks....I would love a copy for my wall at work....let me know. Cheers...
This is THE best!! I was so caught up in the moment that I missed shooting it as well as you did!! I love that Adam wrote you!! How precious...made me cry! :-)
@luckygirl
Made me cry too. I think I am going to use a whole different process for framing this that Travis and I recently learned about. Might even do this in B&W... What are your thoughts on that?
