Finally this tee box is being leveled. Some great improvements happening on this course, but it's time to pack up the house and move everything to Seattle. (Filler)

Yes Jane, here till at least Saturday. @webfoot
Hi Paul - 2012 was a rough year. My husband retired in February after being blindsided by PTSD related to his experiences as a combat corpsman with the Marine Corps in Vietnam and my job position was eliminated -part of all the changes in the medical field related to the new healthcare reform. Since it was jobs that brought us to Oregon from Washington, it was time to go back to family. Not a good time to make such a move - our house has been on the market since last March and we have bottomed out on the price. We just want to sell and break even. Thankfully our mortgage is our only debt, but Florence is a rural, coastal community - a place people usually retire to - but until the California market gets better, things in Florence will not improve. Wonderful place to live, but tough times. -- In Seattle we have our two sons, daughters-in-law, four granddaughters, my husbands mom and three of his siblings. We have no family in Florence. In addition to the better services my husband needs available in Seattle, we both need the support of family... so, there you have it. I've been looking for a new job there but so far I've not landed anything yet. I'm hopful that something will come available that allows me to utilize my skills and provides me with medical benefits - the $640 per month just to cover myself with COBRA is a killer. This weekend, I'm packing up the house and moving everything to a manufactured home we bought in the Seattle area. We have been living between a fifth-wheel and family since May. It will be good to settle in. ...so, this also explains my hit and miss with 365 the last half of 2012. So, I'm trying to get back into the project this year.

Seriously? Wow! Small world. Some amazing homes for rediculous prices here. Thankfully we are not upside down. Just want to cover the mortgage and closing costs and move on. We are at Ocean Dunes Golf Course. Great hospital and healthcare system here too.
