Central Park in Late Fall

We walked a great deal of Central Park. This place is amazing. Did you know that Manhattan Island is solid bedrock? That's why they can build all those skyscrapers and nothing sinks to the bottom of the bay. With that in mind, Central Park is totally man-made. They blew up the rock, designed the entire park and ponds, hauled in dirt and "created" Central Park."

@Jane Pittenger - This trip was nothing short of amazing. I'm going back through all my photos and picking about 13 that encompass the days. I left on the trip November 16 and returned home on December 7. Spent Thanksgiving and my birthday in Israel.
