Looks quite interesting. My wife after 16 years has finally convinced me to go on a cruise (she has been on 3 or 4), and we have plans to go in May. So...I am more interested now than I have ever been!
@ggshearron You might find you really enjoy it. We really like Holland America for a number of reasons … More of our demographic … You don’t see kids running around the ship … It’s not a party ship with an amusement park on board (which would be great if you are taking kids with you).
@mamabec Yeah, no kids. Just me, Sherry and her mom (88). We purposely booked a ship WITHOUT the amusement park stuff, in hopes of minimizing exposure to young, out of control, over the top kids. We shall see.
It’s a very calming view off the back of the ship.
We stick with Holland America for that reason. We booked a 14-day Alaska cruise for next year.
