Get Pushed Challenge-Light Painting

Mel @melwolters gave me this challenge. I tried twice. I think I'll give it a break for now. :) I was trying to make a clean spiral around this bottle while keeping the bottle visible. I lacked the proper light source, amongst other things. It was a fun challenge, Thank you Mel!

@ladydi53 Oops, hit delete instead of reply. Anyway, I used a sparkler. Long shutter, 25 secs. tripod. Hit the button, swirled the sparkler around the bottle and then waited. A bunch of times. Viola! You should try it. I just wish I had a decent small light.

@mandyj92 Okay...when I get a sparkler....I'll give it a go! Thanks!

@ladydi53 Haha! I don't recommend a sparkler. If you want one, I'll mail you a box. ;)

Good job! Kudos to you for trying it too! My husband won't let me try any of these photos. He's afraid I'll burn the house down! LOL

I love it and could tell what you were trying to do, I like the sparks but maybe next time try a glow stick. Or somehow light the bottle from with in so it gets more exposure.

@samanthamphoto Thank you Samantha! That is a great idea about lighting the bottle from within. I hadn't thought of that or the glow stick. I may have to give it another try. Your ideas have inspired me! :)
