Yesterday afternoon, I discovered that my car had a puncture... This morning, the AA came to change the wheel for me (nice of them) and then, this afternoon, I went into Norwich to get the old tyre repaired... (Otherwise, I'd have been driving around without a spare, which, of course, is illegal!)
When I was at the tyre place, waiting for them to finish working on my car, I saw this mound of old tyres piled up behind a shed... I didn't actually have my camera with me (big mistake!!) so I took this photo on my mobile phone... This has been the first time I've been accosted, regarding my 356 Project activities - an employee from the tyre-fitting garage came out and asked me "what I thought I was doing"... I told him I was just taking a picture of the old tyres, and got asked "why?" with a very suspicious look... I gave the explanation that "I thought they looked interesting" - apparently this was enough to satisfy him that I was not doing any harm...!
